What problem are we trying to solve for our communities with this experiment? How might it help us better serve them?
Super fans and those who have been in a story or who have been interviewed on OPB in some form want to archive the story or segment they were in. Since our pages age out, the only way for them to retain access to the content after that time is to download it. It also serves a larger mission of archiving current public affairs content as future history, if you will. |

Previous iterations of our website had this functionality, and the audio is already embedded in the html source code, so I think it's making a short cut to something that already exists, which seems lie something one person would be able to do relatively quickly. But this is not my area so I certainly admit, I do not know if it's significantly more complicated or presents other obstacles. |
