State your hypothesis, tying your project back to the impact it might have.

A homepage that centers and focuses all of our Klamath coverage will bring public awareness to OPB's long-term, ongoing and in-depth reporting on this critical environmental and social issue. A dedicated OPB web page could distinguish for OPB audiences how we are different and focused on long-term coverage. We have a depth on multiple platforms that separates us from other media choices and this could build audience loyalty.

Which metrics would you use to track the success of this project? We will use this as the foundation of our experiment design. (Optional)

Ongoing reader and viewer engagement numbers-- does audience grow over the years even when no news is presented on the page? Do we see repeat visitors turning to us over a period of years as new stories emerge?

What problem are we trying to solve for our communities with this experiment? How might it help us better serve them?

There is high interest in Klamath reporting and story numbers prove this across platforms. The community needs a centralized space for both breaking and ongoing coverage. This is vital for teachers educating around these topics and for communities who want a place they can turn to repeateedly to see and share resources. Center OPB as a homebase for quality, ongoing Klamath reporting coverage. We have an abundance of OPB reporting and partner reporting focused on Klamath dam removal and restoration, tribal sovereignty issues and water crisis coverage. We also have a 1/2 hour TV special on the Klamath on April 4 and a future podcast in the works. These issues have been burning for 20 years and will remain a topic of public interest.

Lay out the potential project steps to the best of your ability, including key teams that would need to be consulted. This is your best knowledge of the systems, tools and lift that would be required.
