Adding some ideas/questions to consider:
Consider video platform: When we link to video do we want to use arc video, PBS App, or YouTube? Should we have consistency or is there opportunity to push folks into different online spaces/platforms for audience reach and membership goals?
OREX, Art Beat, Field Guide - what considerations might we discuss about trying to get folks to stay on site to watch with Arc vide or to use the PBS App?
Where do vertical videos fit in to this page or this overview? Do we have a news section? Are we using social media or YouTube embeds?
Increased visualization and organization for engagement and accessibility:
Potential to add something akin to the "about us" that we're developing elsewhere on site.
Something like a "Meet the producers" of each show with a quick video or audio piece that introduces the contributors to the show. This could be an interview with another host of a show to talk about the why and how of the show. Just something to give people context other than reading an "about the show" style paragraph.
Increased visualization and organization for better interaction and engagement: One example would be adding tags to each piece of content that helps us organize topics for audiences.
For example for Politics Now we may want to define 5-7 key topics or "slices" that audiences would like to filter episodes by and then use those tags to let folks sort episodes in addition to "by date." We may also want to consider adding images to help breakup the text on the page. We could accomplish this by using Soundstack's new embed player that has more features.
Think Out Loud we may want to define some key tags to help folks sort episodes or segments by theme in addition to by date.
For Superabundant we may want to give a high level overview with images of each of the topics covered instead of including a lot of text. More visual for the medium.
Could this also include a way to highlight select video and audio from the Archive. Or should there be a separate pitch for that?
