Other public media orgs have found that their subscribers appreciate receiving the offers, and we hope our subscribers would as well. When peers first started sending these emails, no one knew if it would negatively impact subscriber and open rates - happy to report it hasn't. We hope this will be seen as valuable to our audience and be a very successful new revenue stream. Powell's is looking for an opportunity like this and would be a great brand to test with. |

We need new digital revenue options, and one lucrative idea our public media peers have been selling for years with continued success is a 'dedicated email send.' A sponsor's discount or special offer is the only thing contained in the entire email.
